Perfume

Perfume is made up of alcohol combined with a fixative, essential oils or chemical scents. Cologne is essentially a diluted version of perfume. Perfumes generally contain up to 30% essential oils whilst colognes only contain 1 -2% oils.

It is important to remember that perfume reacts with each person's body scent to create a unique aroma. That's why the same cologne can smell so differently on different people. This is why you should try perfume on your own skin before buying otherwise you may be disappointed. A good rule of thumb is to never test more than three perfumes at a time.

The fragrance of perfume attaches itself to you and your memories. When you smell the perfume of a close friend or relative, you automatically think of the person. Although you can’t see their features, their essence is captured in the lingering fragrance of their perfume.

PERFUMES’S TYPES –

(I) NATURAL PERFUME:-

Many plants exude a natural fragrance, which comes from the part of the plant that has been broken down to its essential oils and compounds. Several parts of a plant may be used to extract the scent for a natural perfume. Flowers and blossoms are obvious plant parts used in making natural perfume, but leaves, twigs, roots, bulbs, seeds, fruit, bark, wood, resin, and even lichens can be used as well. Other organic perfume fragrances, such as musk, civet, castoreum, ambergris, and honeycomb, come from animals.

(II) SYNTHETIC PERFUME:-

Creating perfumes from organic substances, such as plant and animal scents, is an expensive process that results in very pricey perfume. The use of chemical compounds to create synthetic perfumes allows designers to develop similar scents for a fraction of the cost, making perfumes affordable and favorite fragrances readily available to everyone in the world.

Synthetic aromas in perfumes normally aren't found in the environment, but are common in many of today’s perfumes. Synthetics come from combinations of some of the chemicals found in petroleum and pine. One such example is the pale yellow liquid ionone, with its woody, dry, fruity, raspberry, and violet aromas.

HOW CAN FIND A BEST PERFUME AT PERFUME SHOP –

Here are some tips on how you can choose perfumes from Perfume Shop.

(i) Perfume (Fragrance)-

You are buying perfume for the lasting smell. So this is the most important factor to consider. The label is meant to jump out at the target audience. So if there are any names that capture your attention, you may then proceed to sample the perfume

(ii) Perfume Pricing issues-

Finally, tackle the issue of Perfume pricing. If the fragrance smells right, and the bottle looks right, check if the perfume pricing is within your budget. If it's not, you may wish to consider waiting for promotional seasons. High quality perfume is normally associated with a heftier price tag. That's because lots of resources have been spent on development, research, and marketing. Just a few drops from a high quality bottle of perfume can last you for the whole day. So don't go for the cheapest bottle and expect to get the best. It's simply not realistic.
