Makeup Gourmet Returns to Taste Tv's Chocolate Salon

San Francisco, March 12, 2009- Chris Scott, the Makeup Gourmet, voted "Best of San Francisco" by 7x7 magazine will be appearing live at the Chocolate Salon (www.sfchocolatesalon.com) at Fort Mason (www.fortmason.org) in the Herbst Pavilion Saturday March 21. This year, besides offering chocolate-inspired makeup looks that will melt in your mouth-not on your mouth, the chocolate inspired styling looks have expanded to include hair and nails.

Besides being delicious, chocolate provides a sense of well-being on the inside. The Makeup Gourmet extends that sensation to the exterior as his team of stylists gives attendees that chocolate-dipped appeal to wear throughout the day.

Billed as the "Emeril of Makeup" host Chris Scott will be featuring 3 mouth-watering chocolate inspired makeup looks. They are:

•    Milk Chocolate- a subtle natural melt-in-your-mouth look.

•    Dark Chocolate- a higher intensity more smoky finish look.

Early on, girls begin to menstruate, which is dramatic but not obvious to their playmates. They grow taller and rounder, but underneath their makeup they are still recognizably themselves. For boys it is far more disorienting. Puberty comes later, sometimes much later, and its delay is humiliating. While the tall round girls are getting themselves up like grown women, the prepubertal boys, with their featureless, hairless bodies, are just dirty little kids who could pass for the children of the hypermature girls.

•    Hot Fudge Sundae- a Red Carpet, glamorously delicious, look.

These three looks were taped at the Chocolate salon in 2007 and featured on an episode of Makeup Gourmet. To watch his chocolate makeup in action, go to: http://www.makeupgourmet.com/mgtv11.html

L’Oreal Portfolio Artist Scott Smith will be on hand creating chocolate-inspired hairstyles like "Tootsie Rolls" and "Chocolate Souffle". Nail design is provided by Anrika Patton. She is creating looks just for this event such as "French Vanilla" and "Chocolate Stripe".

Just as the Chocolate salon is all in good, ooey-gooey chocolaty fun, so will the styling be at the Makeup Gourmet booth. All for the price of admission, you get to feel, taste, and now look your chocolatyist best.

If you are covering this event, we encourage you to meet the Makeup Gourmet, and ask about his new makeup video tutorial website to launch July 1, 2009.
