There are some personal hygiene issues that no one seems to talk about. One is the problem of excess hairs in places that aren’t appealing, including in your nose. The most expensive are those that are electric. An electric model generally either plugs into the wall or is powered by a rechargeable battery. A nose hair clipper like this will typically also be able to handle eyebrow and chin hairs. It’s important not to use one of these types of clippers to trim the hair under your arms or on your legs because it just isn’t equipped to handle a large or thick amount of hair at once.
Another model that costs just a few dollars is the manual type. These come in several different styles and are powered by a battery. A nose hair clipper like this is convenient to use and is also portable, so you can take it with you in your purse or briefcase. Many people routinely pack one in their luggage when they travel. If you do this you never have to worry about whether you have an unwanted hair poking out.

Keeping them in good condition is paramount to maintaining the blades. It’s really important that you clean all the small hairs stuck in the clipper after use. If you don’t, the blades will tend to dull over time and then the unit becomes useless. There’s really no reason to wash the clipper, as water can damage the motor and the unit, resulting in it seizing up.
Often you can purchase a grooming kit which contains a clipper along with a comb, or even a larger razor. If you are planning on giving the gift of a razor to a novice shaver or even someone who has been keeping their face baby soft and smooth for years, consider buying one of these gift sets. Not only will they enjoy the razor on a daily basis, but they’ll appreciate having a nose hair clipper to take care of any wayward nose or ear hairs.
You are likely to find several different models to choose from in the beauty section of any major department store. They are also readily available online in both the gift set format or as a stand alone purchase. Many people find it best to purchase more than one nose hair clipper at a time as once there is one in the household almost everyone wants to use it. This is easy to understand as staying well groomed is something every person should be striving for.
